Iyesha's music is mostly contemporary R&B, heavily rooted in soul music and gospel music. Her lyrics speak of love, pain and resilience. She also incorporates pop, funk, reggae and hip hop into her new music. Loving You demonstrated the versatility of Iyesha's voice. Iyesha introduced a new and much edgier rock-inspired sound which she coined as 'rock soul' on her new album. This is her finest album yet dropping this summer. Iyesha further showcased her versatility and expanded her range while starring in a commercial for one of the biggest airlines in the world, as well as her upcoming mini-tour with other Bay Area legendary artist.

Iyesha has received songwriting credits on a Huge Airlines Commercial airing in 2017. She wrote majority of the tracks featured on this collaboration. Aside from her own project, Iyesha co-wrote theme songs to training videos and exercise videos used in company meetings, which she also performed. Over the course of her career, Iyesha has inspired countless other artists in the Bay Area!
