Allegra Miles is a teen pop singer-songwriter with a soulful twist.  She’s an emerging artist with a powerful voice and a passion for singing that began even before she could talk. Born in San Diego, CA, Allegra spent 5 years living in the US Virgin Islands before moving to Palm Beach County, Florida in 2014.  She divides her time between NYC and Florida in order to develop her music career.    Allegra sings with a soulfulness and vocal control well beyond her years.  She’s been described as “the real deal", “a phenomenal singer”, and “very impressive” by prominent music industry professionals.  Her versatile vocal talent and passion for singing spans every genre, including pop, soul, musical theatre and classical.  Tony Coluccio of Global Media Music, NYC, who produced several of Allegra’s first music videos, has nothing but accolades for Allegra: “She’s a super talent who is ahead of her time, so driven and so versatile! Great things to come!”  Diverse musical background:  Allegra’s from a musical family – her mother is a music therapist who plays guitar, piano and sings, her dad plays bass-guitar, and her older sister plays guitar & piano – and they’ve had fun playing and singing together at open mics since Allegra was 9 year old.  Allegra started playing the piano at age four, and she continues to develop her skill at playing classical and pop styles.  She then began playing the guitar and writing her own songs at twelve, offering a positive message for the world, and especially for young people.  She often collaborates on lyric-writing with her cousin, Liz Schneider-Cohen. But it’s her voice that has been her deepest focus, and she is fortunate to have had several wonderfully talented vocal coaches:  Badiene Magaziner, Valerie Saalbach, Craig Wich, and Luba Dolgopolsky.  At age 13, Allegra made her debut at Carnegie Hall in December, 2016, along with other 1st place winners in the musical theatre category for an international vocal competition, American Protégé.  Delivering songs with a positive message:  Allegra wants her music to inspire everyone to respect themselves and the environment, and to promote a cruelty-free world.  Allegra became a vegetarian at age 6 - firmly informing her parents that she refuses to hurt animals - and became an avid animal rights supporter shortly after.  She is wholeheartedly committed to a lifestyle that doesn’t harm animals – which includes not eating, wearing or using products which are made from, tested on, or harm animals - and she wants to send this positive message out to kids and adults everywhere through her music.     Her first song, which she wrote completely herself at age 12, is called “Change the World”.
