Chakita is a lush cinematic rock duo comprised of Tony Denove and Maxwell Transue. Based in Los Angeles, the classically trained musicians employ richly melodic and harmonic textures while fusing elements of hip-hop and indie rock. Influenced by a tradition of composers and songwriters pushing sonic boundaries, their songs are brimming with intricate subtleties, carefully crafted to be of lasting integrity.
