简介
With the release of her new CD "West Of Detroit", Singer-songwriter Laura Creamer continues to step out on her own. Born in Detroit, Michigan, her first professional performance was singing a commercial for Kroger Foods at the age of ten. Laura performed in school productions, singing and acting, then continued to study music and theatre at Wayne State University in Detroit. Since moving to Los Angeles, her career has mostly been in supporting roles, singing and arranging backing vocals for hit acts like Bob Seger, Eric Clapton, Glenn Frey, The Scorpions and Joe Walsh. She has also written songs for movies and television. "The supporting roles make me feel productive - like I'm helping to make something work" says Laura. But things began to evolve for her solo career when she recently sang lead on the title cut of Jim Brickman's album "By Heart", which climbed to number #8 on the AC charts. On Laura's new CD, featuring her original songs, she is joined by Glenn Frey, Joe Walsh and other talented musicians she has worked with
