Nailed Down Records was started in Kelowna BC in 2007 by Tha Gate Keepa and his goal was to produce an album for Invisible Children so that the funding can be donated towards the cause of setting child soldiers free with in Africa. Since then Tha Gate Keepa has been producing songs for the likes of Jacob Izrael, MDK, Didymus, Seize1, God*son, 2Edge, Generation Kingdom, Prophecy, Chris Po, Seven, and there have been at least two music videos under his production by MDK and Jacob Izrael. This year in 2011 Nailed Down Record and The Gate Keepa will be coming out with his Debut Album called Come Unto Me.
