Fans of Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page, Joe Bonamassa and even Zappa will find plenty to enjoy with this album. Guitarist Rob Perez plays all the instruments (Doug Bowers guests on keys for Kimberly's Groove) with no programming of drums or any other sounds. Every song started out with either a composed bass riff or a fully developed guitar riff recorded to a click track. Then the drums were recorded then the key/synths. Guitar solos were mainly improvised once all the tracks were individually recorded. This is typical of Rob's approach as most of what gets recorded is in the moment and Holy Spirit inspired with many of his guitar solo's not able to be reproduced exactly as you hear them.
