Ray Okpara, an artist whose roots lie half in Nigeria represents today for what we understand as House. Percussions, drifty hypnotic beats, a touch of soul and marvellously deep. Having released music on Oslo Records, 8bit and Mobilee, Ray also has been a very close partner and great friend to the Akbal Music family and now we welcome him with his first solo EP on the label. Expect no less than grooving baselines, hypnotic vibes and driving tunes on this lovely record.
