Love From Above This is a remix of the first track Ive ever made. The story behind it is when I was 19 I lost my big brother David from a fire. The last time him and I spoke was on the phone, I was upset with him and as he said "I love you at the end of the conversation I just hung up on him. I didnt know that was the last time I would ever speak to him. When I learned he passed away a few days later I spiraled in to a very bad depression, I lost a lot of friends, my job and a huge chunk of my heart. The guilt from being mean to him constantly tore away at me to the point that it was unbearable. When I was 21 I was in my room listening to the radio and a House music show come on, it was a local Detroit Radio Station 90.9 fm. It was at that point I became addicted to House Music, it was the only thing that made the rain stop falling. I started out learning to DJ, then moved to making my own music. After I taught myself the software and basics I made Love From Above for my brother. I never did anything with the track until now. I remixed it to match my style today and I feel confident enough to share it with the world. Every time I get in a groove like I did when I made this I feel like I get a piece of my brother back. So this is for you David. I love you, I miss you.
