The Mojo Slide is a group of musicians hailing from Cambridge and St Neots, Cambridgeshire. United in their passion for blues inspired alternative music, they write all their own mixture of classic rock 'n' roll, blues/rock and blues rooted alternative. The bands debut single “Jesus Don’t Love Me” is a dirty blues/rock track full of great riffs and with a strong vocal performance which see Mark Wilks inject his British’ness into the song, bringing a refreshing twist and making this track one to savour as you unravel the layers in the recording. As a 21st century band they originally met each other via the Internet. Their career is off to a great start as the BBC in England picked up and played their debut song, along with several interviews. This is definitely a band to look out for in the future.
