Dave Bostwick (db) has spent many years being inspired by true events and working on his groove with cover and original bands.  Besides his current work with the Kansas City cover band the Groove Pilots, he has over 25 years of experience as a performer on guitar, keyboards, harmonica and vocals, and he was a founding member of 5 Man Trio, an acoustic folk/rock/blues group based in Kansas. "Inspired by True Events" is a collection of songs that have evolved over the past 10 years. The cover for this recording project refers to "db+" because of the many musical friends from Kansas and Missouri who contributed their talents. The Midwest is often a melting pot of musical flavors and instruments, and this project reflects that. Most of all, you'll hear original music and some poetic lyrics truly inspired by life.
