As lead singer of the Night Shadows, Little Phil had a hit tune in his early teens that spawned an international fan club. If his label had not switched back to Country music at the behest of their corporate parent, his single “So Much” would certainly have gone national since it had reached top twenty radio status in several states. Nevertheless, this tune and others he released on indie labels have made Little Phil and his old band cult favorites among garage rock aficionados and devotees. Present day garage bands have covered his tunes, foreign labels have released his old tracks and a popular French garage band is named after his tune “60 Second Swinger”. Little Phil’s classic psychedelic vinyl album, The Square Root of Two, was bootlegged in Germany and re-released for record collectors that cannot afford to pay thousands for a mint original.

This CD features ten tunes that Little Phil recorded since the demise of his legendary band. They may not sound like the garage psych-rock of the Night Shadows, but each track still remains true to Little Phil’s unique soul-rock style of singing.
