After only being on the scene for a few months, Triple Vision quickly established itself in Fort Wayne by getting the most write-in votes for three categories of the 2012 Whammy awards. In support of their album, Mic Checkmate, Triple Vision opened for national acts Rehab, 2 Live Crew and Lil Wyte. The diversity and universal appeal of the group only increased when they added guitarists and a female vocalist to an already engaging live show. And jamming with some of the area’s best music vets has proven that Triple Vision is more than just rap/hip hop and can rock venues of any variety. On the album or on the stage, Triple Vision captivates people from all walks of life with a mix of old and new school. Taking the raw basics of lyrical hip hop, twisting them with the infectious dance floor grooves of commercial rap and just the right touch of punk rock attitude, Triple Vision makes unique tracks that are carefully crafted to be just as accessible as they are real.
