OFF16 presents four slices of delicious house music, surely one of the deepest and most consistent releases for the label so far. Micha Klang is known as one of the driving forces behind house music in the south of germany. As dj, promoter, label manager of Glueckskind Schallplatten and recently also as producer. Cheek On Cheek features sweet vocals on top of a uplifting fat bassline, accompanied by the kind of driving oldschool-ish grooves that you know and love OFF for. You Turn Me On follows a similar path, but takes things a bit deeper and more hypnotic, peaking in a great deep break which will not fail to rock the dancefloor. Berlin-based dj and recently also chartstorming producer Chris Lattner (EinMalEins, Fear Of Flying etc) strips down Cheek On Cheek to its essence, focusing on the vocals and streamlining the groove to a perfect dj-tool. Inside takes things deeper down again, with a loose and spacy production leaving lots of room for its beautiful elements to unfold. Shes On My Side completes the collection with a digital-exclusive straight dancefloor tool, focusing very much on its simple bassline and linear arrangement.
