"Incense & Arrows" is a collective of songwriters and musicians from Fredericksburg, VA. This collective was birthed in the context of community and prayer. For the last five years, the members of I&A have been giving themselves to day and night prayer in Fredericksburg. These songs were born in the womb of prayer, the presence of God, and friendship. We believe that creative expressions of worship are first to God and they are also missional as arrows that speak the language of a culture. As a great awakening comes to this nation, music will be on the point of the spear. As nations are shifted by the love of God, music will be the language of intimacy with God and of missions. Music is one of the primary languages of God. Music moves God and men. We want to labor until this incense is in every place.

O Mighty Ones was written one evening in the middle of a prayer meeting. This track as you hear it now was written almost entirely spontaneously in the context of worship and prayer.
