Colin Sullivan is guitar player from Naugatuck, Connecticut who studied Music Business at Berklee College of Music. Aside from being one of the founding members of the indie-rock band, The Guru, he is presently performing with acts including Sex Bomb, and his own solo project, Col. After years of playing with a wide variety of musicians and bands, Sullivan has honed his own sound and is releasing his sophomore solo album, Col (July 2016). Beginning his musical journey with the guitar at age 8, Colin has spent his high school and college years seriously studying music earning a Specialist, Professional, and Master certification in guitar skills, and a Bachelor's Degree in Music Business/Management through Berklee College of Music. His live performance career started in 2009 when The Guru was formed. During that era, The Guru has had the opportunity to tour cross country, as well as open up for acts including The Growlers, Weezer, Mac Demarco, and The Front Bottoms. He currently writes for his 6 piece side project, Sex Bomb, and is in the process of recording an album. Additionally, he also has a passion for building and working on guitars and can be found playing them in his live shows. Colin reaches solely from within on his new album, 'Col', which he has written, recorded, and produced himself as a multi-instrumentalist.
