简介
Sing Along Tim & The Pacifiers play fully interactive folk rock for families. From classic and traditional to new and original via some of the greats like Leadbelly, Woody Guthrie, Pete Seeger and Canada's own Sharon Lois & Bram. Songs with memorable words, catchy tunes, upbeat tempos, all performed with a liberal dash of humour that appeal to kids and older folks alike. They have performed at Festivals and Fairs and events all around their home province of Ontario. Recent highlights including Hillside Festival, Guelph, Mariposa Folk Festival (with Bram Morrison), Montreal Folk Festival, Oakville Children's Festival and The Wee Festival of Theatre And Culture for Early Years (Theatre Direct, Toronto). In October 2017, The Booger Song was awarded the Stingray Songs From The Heart, Best Children's Song. Bunchy Sleeves & Bendy Knees the second studio album from Sing Along Tim and The Pacifiers. These fresh, original songs take a kid’s eye view of the world and cover a wide range of important subjects including tree climbing, the rules of tag, stickiness, injuries incurred during play, scooters, David Suzuki, and a whole bunch of critters including cats, bees, wasps, frogs, mosquitos, owls and butterflies. For this album, the great arrangements and vocal harmonies of the three core members, (Sing Along Tim, Lori Nancy Kalamanski and Junkyard Rich) were augmented by terrific contributions from Jason Kenemy, who played drums and anything with keys, and engineer/multi-instrumentalist Aaron Comeau who played anything with strings including stand-up bass. Together they have created a spontaneous, playful, textured, big happy sound that’ll get inside your ear and wiggle around for a long time. This record was grown, played and recorded locally in Toronto’s East End. Our hope is that it will be listened to and enjoyed everywhere. The beautiful artwork, which effortlessly captures the essence of each song was created by Ellie Arscott.
