简介
Sindacato -- The critically acclaimed mountain, bluegrass and country music group -- has released their fourth album, The Gospel Plow. Recorded live, this slice of Americana is Sindacato's first gospel influenced album. Released in June of 2002, This Indianapolis based band has opened for legends George Jones, Emmylou Harris, Norman Blake, Ralph Stanley, Doc Watson, The Del McCoury Band, Sam Bush, Dwight Yoakam, and Jim Lauderdale, Beppe Gambetta and Dan Crary. Their first CD, the critically acclaimed "Appalachian Pipeline" received high praise from national and international magazines such as No Depression (Seattle, WA), Texas Monthly (Austin, TX), The Country Music Store (Brisbane, Australia) & Buscadero Magazine (Gallarate, Italy). Logan County is the third release from the critically acclaimed mountain, bluegrass and country music group, Sindacato. Sindacato's music is played on radio stations across the country. The Indianapolis Star has called their second album, entitled simply "Sindacato", "The perfect country album." Expectations were high for their third release, and Logan County does not disappoint. Frank Dean is a virtual songwriting legend in Indiana, and on Logan County he has surrounded himself with some of the finest players in the Midwest. Gary Wasson's bass and Carl LoSasso's drums add a foot tappin' drive to every song. Troy Seele, Kara Barnard, Jon Martin and Steve Woods are impressive on lead guitar, mandolin, dobro, and banjo respectively. You'll hear the vocals of Frank, Gary, Carl, Kara and Jon blending beautifully and switching off lead vocal duties. Be warned - this is as impressive a group of musicians as you're likely to hear. This is roots music, alive with shades of bluegrass and old time country, music that fits well into the current genre of Americana.
