In the spring of 2011, Duet for Theremin and Lap Steel embarked on a recording tour. Equipped with our portable amps and a Zoom recorder, we visited old friends and made some new ones, from Chattanooga, TN to New Paltz, NY. The order of the collaborations on this CD is based on the timing of our visits. We had previously performed with the Shaking Ray Levis and Andrew Weathers, but it was our first time playing with Helena Espvall, Richard Lainhart and Bill Brovold. All audio was recorded via a portable recorder with the exception of the recordings with Richard, which were recorded in his studio.
