简介
Following the success of their 2012 single “Super Star”, the talented trio of musicians, songwriters and producers that make up Royal Priesthood Music Group have done it again. “V.I.P. Room” is the first single off of their album, of the same title (releasing in 2014). “The song is a testament…of the cries of the heart of a worshiper…wanting to be close to God. A lot of people think that Gospel rap is about putting hip hop beats to Gospel lyrics. And that may be true for some, but, for us…our music is an inside look at our everyday walk with God. Our music mirrors our relationship…” says Melissa Finley, also known as Nova; who showcases her talent as the lead vocal on the single. Based in Mobile, Alabama, Royal Priesthood Music Group has a musical history rooted in 12 years of ministry through Gospel Rap and gospel music production. This power team includes: Gregory “Pap Star” Finley--an accomplished guitar player, songwriter and producer; his wife--singer, songwriter, producer--Melissa "Nova" Finley; and his “slightly younger” brother--multi-talented musician, singer and songwriter--Marcus “Scuzz Nation” Finley.
