简介
Randle “YoungblitZ” Berry is a rapper, producer, and songwriter extraordinaire on the rise. Born in Gary, Indiana as the youngest of 14 brothers and sisters, YoungblitZ was influenced by the performing arts at a young age. His mother is a singer, poet, and artist and his father a guitarist, producer, and writer. Outside of the home, YoungblitZ gained inspiration from listening to international music mogul Jay-Z. He began writing lyrics at the age of 9 and has been motivated ever since. YoungblitZ created a rap group called A.K.A. 45 with two other friends. Realizing that consistency at that age was rare, YoungblitZ saw that he was the only one taking it seriously and left the group at age 11 to pursue his music dream solo. YoungblitZ’s first recording in Gary was an unofficial remix of Fat Joe’s “Lean Back” in 2004. That same year, he moved to Georgia. The music reputation the city of Atlanta had attained only added fuel to fulfill his musical dream. In 2006, YoungblitZ began making beats and producing his own music. By the end of that year he formed another group called M.O.C. with fellow rappers Tha Prince and Jsalmz in which he produced much of the material. M.O.C’s first single, “Pray for You” gained airplay on Atlanta’s own The F.I.E.L.D. Radio Show within a year of the song’s creation and release. In 2007, the group disbanded and YoungblitZ went solo again, remaining focused on his purpose to produce quality music. He continued making remixes of popular songs such as Chris Brown’s “Wall to Wall”, Young Jeezy’s “I Put On” , and O.K.’s “Swagga Like Us”, which gained notable popularity and plays on MySpace. YoungblitZ recorded his first complete album entitled “Prince of G.I.” and released it in early 2008. With the backing and support of Jaidot Media and Freedom Music Group, YoungblitZ released his second album, “The TranZition” on September 13th, 2008. Since his time in Georgia, YoungblitZ has made beats for local Atlanta artists including Kam, Trena J, and City Boy. YoungblitZ is a junior at Pebblebrook High School. His future plans include writing and directing films as well as continuing his rap career and producing music for other artists.
