This "Through it All" CD is a re-master of my original release in 2007. I have since acquired some better gear and a mastering suite. So I figured I would give the tracks a better quality for your enjoyment. These are the same songs, some remixed with better drums, eq, and remastered. They still have that classic rock and hard rock sound, only of better quality. I've been a musician most of my life, since about the age of twelve. Guitar was the instrument that caught my attention. I grabbed it, and started learning the instrument when some neighborhood kids wanted to start a band. Upon doing so, I discovered that I had a real ear for music. I figured out by ear most of the songs that we played. Eventually I started creating my own compositions. Throughout my young life, I played in bands as lead guitarist. Then I met my wonderful wife, Kim. We were married at a young age, and were blessed with a little daughter we named, Jade. Through much of my young adult life, I worked fulltime running my own business and played in the band on weekends. As our family grew, (three wonderful sons, Dustin, Troy and Cody) it became increasingly hard to play out in bands anymore. Music was put on the shelf. As technology progressed, I began to realize that you could make high quality recordings at home with a computer, good software, and some high quality outboard gear(audio-interface, pre-amps, monitors, etc.). So, as time went on, I really got into all the various aspects of recording, mixing and mastering of music. Slowly, while working fulltime and being a husband and father, songs that I had written began to become a reality. The musical dream wasn't dead! Also, with the proliferation of the internet, I realized I also had a vehicle for getting the music out to the world. My musical influences range from Jimi Hendrix, Joe Satriani, Jimi Page, Yes , Kansas, Rush, Boston, Styx, and many others from that era, to (Now that I've given my life to Christ) christian and country artists such as; Kutless, Casting Crowns, Mercy Me, Little Big Town, Zac Brown Band, Tim McGraw, Alan Jackson, etc. As a result, I believe the music God gave me to write is varied in style, "although always rather guitar centric". I'll soon be posting other albums I almost have ready. One will be a mixed album with original christian rock and country music. Following shortly after, I'll be posting an album with songs from my younger years. I hope you enjoy the music, and that it blesses your life.
