Deux Tigres are Alex Nieminen and Heikki Liimatainen from Helsinki, Finland. The duo has extensively been active in the club scene since the 90s and this is the first time they hit the studio together. Alex Nieminen is known from the famous Finnish club radio show DanceMob, and he has been djing since the end of the 80s. Heikki Liimatainen is a well know producer in the house and progressive scenes and has released his music under the names of Dallas Superstars and Bostik. Dragonfly has been a underground goodie in the Helsinki club scene since the original surfaced on a few selected djs playlists earlier in the year. Thus it was the right choice to keep the whole releases Finnish and commissioning remixes from Jori Hulkkonen and Arttu. Jori does not need any introduction, he's currently on fire with his brand new album on My Favorite Robot and the ultra hot Sin Cos Tan duo on Solina Records. His remix is an ode to the melodic side of detroit techno, starting with arpegiated synth lines and as soon as the acid line drops we know we have the master of 303 in action once again. Arttu who is probably the most in-demand Finn right now drops one of his Chicago Jack monsters - dark, percussive and highly addictive this has been lately dropped by Sasse with great success.
