简介
I started singing when I was two years old. Growing up, my family traveled performing gospel music and we all played instruments by ear. My spiritual and musical roots run deep. I am thankful for the gifts of music and lyric writing that I have been given, and I am especially grateful for the opportunity to share my songs with others. When I put this C.D. together, I saw so much discord among various religions, that I decided to create something that could reveal a common ground. Just about anyone from any walk of faith or spiritual calling can, I think, find inspiration, healing or just feel uplifted by these songs. They come out of my own spiritual experiences and are genuine and sincere. All of these songs are my own arrangements, vocals and mostly my own instrumentation (so I had no one to blame but me if I didn’t like something). Here’s a little insight into what each song is about: Higher Power: An energetic anthem about finding the Divine power within you, and its potential. I Came Here To Be Love: This is one of my most popular songs. I find people from all walks of life making the connection with the message. Centered In Spirit: A sing-a-long style song about the best way to get through the day. Seek the Kingdom: From the teachings of Jesus with the perspective of how and why we seek. In the Silence: These words came to me while meditating in church. It’s about the importance of quieting ourselves to feel the presence of the Spirit of God. Always Find the Light: Rocks out with a solid message about the ever-present availability of God within our own hearts. I Will Stand: This song is powerful and was intended to be so. It calls upon is to search our souls when we are in a dark place, and then upon finding the inner sanctity, we can stand strong no matter what. Find the Fire In Your Soul: The lyrics are about finding your destiny ( with music that can move you into action). Moment By Moment: A quiet reflection about listening to the guidance of Spirit, and seeing God revealed as everywhere present. Love Never Fails: This upbeat song defines Love’s many facets and builds a strong case for why it’s essential to us. Amazing Grace: This song has great personal meaning to me and to many people all over the world. I’ve changed some lyrics to reflect my personal experience of Grace. It starts acapella (no instruments) and then leads into a soothing string-like instrumental accompaniment. Amazing Grace (instrumental only): This is the instrumental arrangement repeated for meditative reflection. May these songs be a blessing to you.
