Newly digitally re-mastered, "When I'm With You" was originally recorded between 1979 and 1990 with a fantastic group of now very well-known musical friends such as Rick Krive, Ed Calle, Reed Arvin, Teri DeSario, Jorge Casas, Peter Graves and many others! The acoustic authenticity is there as you hear all of the "live" instruments and an intimate vocal setting. Cathy gives all of the Glory to the Lord for these precious songs. A graduate of the University of Miami's School of Music, Cathy received both her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Music from the UM. She is President of EFM Productions, Inc. and has been involved in many aspects of the Music and Film Industries including as Artist, Producer, Choreographer, Writer, Director and Author. Most recently, her first hard bound book, "My Life With Mom" was released to rave reviews. Track 1: "BUILDING ONE STEP AT A TIME" The symbol of building a house equated to building your Faith. This song is also on Kyle Bielfield's Album, "In My Father's House". This is the composer's original performance. Track 2: "WE ARE LEARNING" A Children friendly song, recorded with children, this song tells us that we are always learning! It's a fun song! Track 3: "THIS MAN WE CALL JESUS" This song was "inspired" to the composer on Easter Sunday, 1974. Cathy sang it in concert with Andre Crouch and recorded it in 1979. It was well received on radio stations around the country and continues to be to this day! Kyle also recorded this song on his album, "In My Father's House", available here at CDBaby.com. Track 4: "WHERE WOULD I GO?" The flip side of the original single with "This Man We Call Jesus". "Where Would I Go?" tells it like it is. If the Lord wasn't there, who would we have to turn to? Track 5: "COMMUNION SONG" This song is so beautiful and perfect to play or sing during Communion. Nancy Haywood also has recorded a gorgeous version of this song, with solos by Ed Calle, on her album, "Brand New World!". Nancy's CD is also available here at CDBaby.com. Track 6: "JESUS, I DESIRE YOU" We all should want to know and please the Lord more in our lives! The Scripture says that when a person's ways please the Lord, He makes even our enemies to be at peace with us. This is a love song to Jesus! Track 7: "WHEN I'M WITH YOU" This beautiful love song is from the New Musical "Abraham & Sarah". This rendition is from the original stage production where Cathy portrayed "Sarah" opposite Dick Sterling's "Abraham". Track 8: "WILL I EVER HAVE THAT CHANCE, NOW?" This song is also from the New Musical "Abraham & Sarah", where Sarah has been taken captive in King Abimelech's Palace and doesn't know whether she will ever see her Abraham again. This song was recorded by England's Celia Lipton and was nominated for a Grammy. Nancy Haywood, "Sarah" in the film version now in production sings this song, too.
