Dady Long Legs is the alias for musician and producer John Whoolilurie's kids music. John wrote the tunes and played all the instruments on Everyday Songs For Baby. These songs were written organically as he spent time with his baby son, John. They originated as ways to communicate to the baby about what was happening throughout the day. From the simplest of tasks to fun games, Everyday Songs For Baby is just what the title implies. Now (as of 2016) that John and his wife Moriah have a two year old girl and a 4 1/2 year old boy, these songs are still sung or listened to on a daily basis in the Whoolilurie household. John's wife Moriah is a midwife and is constantly referring her clients to the Daddy Long Legs record. Being 6'8", the name is apropos for John as a fun and entertaining kids musician, and loving father.

Along with being a vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and composer, John is a proficient band leader, looper, and engineer producing a variety of styles including jazz, funk, rock, electronic, and kids music. Some of his current and past projects include: The Big Whoo, Whoolilicious, Vanaka, The Selections (Santa Barbara's Wedding and Live Karaoke Band), MoJoW & the Vibration Army, Hamsa Lila, and Estradasphere. John lives with his wife and two young children in Santa Barbara, CA.
