Spin's foundation goes back as early as 1999. 5 jazz musicians of Istanbul local jazz scene joined forces to form SPIN when guitarist Sıtkı Sırtanadolu and pianist Selim Benba decided to give life to Sırtanadolu's originals. The band still is active in Istanbul's local jazz scene, and planning to record their follow up to Ilk (means First) .
