I AM... David Vines, a 27yr old singer/songwriter/lyricist/composer from Richmond, VA. In 2013, I released my debut album "Fly...735", which is currently available on iTunes, Pandora, Apple Music, TIDAL, Spotify, iHeart Radio, Rhapsody, Google Play, and Amazon. Almost 3 years later, the long awaited follow-up is almost here! #ImAWriter EP, releases on Tuesday, December 1st. The recording sessions began as a mixtape of all original versions of some of the biggest songs on radio from a few of the biggest Top 40 artists of all genres. I vocally/lyrically composed completely original versions of hit songs by Missy Elliott, Usher, Sam Smith, Jay-Z, Beyonce, Nick Jonas, and more. These sessions led to me working with a litany of talented up and coming producers in an effort to truly express my thoughts and feelings, musically. I have been greatly affected by the world around me and as a result, this EP is comprised of songs that truly reflect these sentiments.
