Chile is dancing, and with it the whole planet: Fabian Rios Espinoza aka Hidromental’s first EP on Emerald & Doreen, „Reverza“, is coming. Five deep tracks that fill every dancefloor with joy and every mind that wants to embark on a long, colourful journey with a lot of wonderful inspiration. Hidromental is currently hailing from the city of Linares, a place that serves him as inspiration, a place where he is free to create sounds that are not normally heard in Chile’s underground scene. “Acid Trip” is a driving 80s – inspired acid-meets-synth groove, “Emerald” pumps its hypnotic swirls deep into your braincells and lets your feet move, “Reverza” has a kicking hi-hat and rolling bassline that keep you going forward. Patoxhea gives “Emerald” a acidic dancefloor drive while our man Statickman turns Daft Punk into some 70s Japanese Sci-Fi-Movie characters and sends them on a journey towards the sun orbit in their polystyrene spaceship with warp drive – essential! The beautiful artwork is by Fabian Rios Espinoza as well - a voyage into the head of a boy in search of answers to emotions and dreams that are born in the subconscious, a so called "Piledriver" to a parallel world in which we live and which exists in our head, reflecting the emotions embodied in this wonderful EP for stargazers and trailblazers.
