They give live performances mainly in Tokyo, and their sound is highly appreciated from all generations. Their music is recognized as well-defined, and homely melodies inspired by the latent Japanese culture. You find comfortable atmosphere inside the sound. 郷原繁利(A.Sax)を中心に2002年に結成、東京都内のジャズバー・ライブハウスを中心にライブ活動を行っている。2004年ごろからバンド名を[DEEP RIVER]とし、徐々にオリジナルの曲を増やしつつ、バンドの独特なサウンドに磨きをかけている。 ジャズでもポップスでもない、素朴だが丹念に織り上げられたメロディーライン、日本人らしい、風景や空気を感じられるような音の世界に定評がある。
