Ex-Wise Heads is the product of a chance meeting between bass player Colin Edwin (Porcupine Tree) and multi-instrumentalist Geoff Leigh, (best known for his work with the legendary Henry Cow). Since forming the band as a duo in 1998, Ex-Wise Heads have given their own curiously English and refreshing take on improvised and world influenced music, with three releases on their own “Hard World” label. Current album “Holding Up the Sky” sees a revitalized duo augmenting the raw and uninhibited Ex-Wise Heads sound with electro/ambient textures, without losing the primal and spontaneous feel of earlier releases.
