Survey Says is an album that is themed around the famed game show "Family Feud" and weaves in the message that the solution to most if not all of our social problems as human beings is to be-family or BFAM for short, hence the name. This album is filled with songs for intellectuals, social activists, CHH fans, and those that love lyrical content in general. From their edgy and real conversational track "Good Answer" where they discuss a very different response to police brutality, to D. Lloyd's powerfully encoded message to his sister Mia, and to D. Lloyd's powerful question on the final track Can We Be Family? BFAM comes out of the gate strong and lets the audience know why music is their movement. BFAM is a rapping trio featuring three brothers from North Carolina. Their flow is as smooth and intricate as Nas with the messaging of a new school preacher. D.Lloyd, JK, and O.Bizzy have lyrics heavy with meaning, metaphors, and analogies. Lyrically not too many groups come close.
