The songs and music of Eddie Minnis have stood the test of time. He has been producing "Hit Music" in the Bahamas since 1971. He currently has six CDs: "Hey Mon","Discovery","Greatest Hits 1", "Greatest Hits 2","Greatest HIts 3" and "Tropical Waves". Many of his songs have become favourites with Bahamians of all ages. Teachers use some of these songs to teach aspects of Bahamian Culture. Students sing them, dance to them, act out the stories portrayed in them and analyze their lyrical content. It is hoped that this will help our nation's youth to appreciate our rich musical heritage. Eddie often hear Fans make comments like the following:"When I was away in school, your music helped me maintain contact with my Bahamian Roots."..."My father was a Minister and the only records that we could play at home, other than Gospel, were by Eddie Minnis".
