Colin Giles is a singer/songwriter who creates a fusion of Rock, Soul, Funk, and R&B, performed through a foundation of Reggae music. Beginning as a young talent in Los Angeles, Colin first began performing in the local Reggae/Ska circuit establishing and fronting bands like The Channels, and The Big Sound. Through these groups, he then began working and recording with New York producer Victor Rice (Augusto Pablo, King Tubby, The Skatalites.) From there, Giles went onto working and recording with the likes of musicians: Money Mark (Beastie Boys, Beck, Jack Johnson) Dean Butterworth (Morrissey, Good Charlotte, Ben Harper) Ric Markmann (Heart, Chris Cornell) and more. He has performed backing vocals for Jamaican music legends Alton Ellis, Ken Boothe, Derrick Morgan, The Maytones, Stranger Cole, BB Seaton and established himself as a go to voice in the Los Angeles Reggae scene. Colin has a strong following, and has sold thousands of albums worldwide, including a Japanese release call “Dear Japan.”
