简介
"Learn French Through Music" was created to teach French to children starting as early as 6 months old. Each song teaches voacabulary and sentence structures which children repeat and practice endlessly, thus acquire an excellent pronunciation of the words. They are upbeat, happy, diverse, soothing, fun and educational all around. Original compostions include Les pirates (the pirates), La Vie Tout En Couleur (Life full of colors), Bonjour et Au Revoir are to learn Hello and how to say your name and Good Bye, and La Princesse Alex (was written for one of my students who is the most adorable dancing and singing princess I've known!). American traditionals translated in French capture your child's attention right away and she/he starts singing along almost instantly because she/he recognized the tune and already knows the theme of the song. Traditional French songs will sound familiar like Frère Jacques and Gentille Alouette. they are adapted to the purpose of teaching and learning French: Gentille Alouette focuses on the parts of the face, Un Éléphant focuses on teaching numbers while reinforcing the use the of words "la petite araignée" in another context to promote logical thinking. L'Alphabet Et Ses Voyelles teaches the letters and lead the children to practice the unusual vowels sounds. All is done in the most "edutaining" way with songs that are part of a technique created in 1998 and which has long since proven its efficiency. I have to thank Marshall Toppo for the arrangements which never failed to create the atmosphere and ambiance specific to each song and my family and friends for enjoying my enthusiasm and encouraging me to create more songs.
