I've been leading worship for several years, but the most meaningful worship experiences I've ever had are in my living room alone - when it's just me, the piano, and God. This project grew out of some of those intimate worship services. The hardest thing about this CD was keeping it simple and not adding instruments, harmony, not correcting everything I wanted to or "over producing" it. But there's something special about a song being simple and raw, probably the way it was originally written. Some of these are originals, most of them are incredibly written songs that other artists have recorded. These are some of my 'go to' songs when I'm alone in my living room worshiping God when no one else is around. It's simple, honest and real worship. One voice, one instrument, for an audience of One.
