The Milkman’s Union practices thought-to-ether alchemy. This requires the wrapping of words in shades of silky tone, opaque harmony, rhythmic flourishes, conjured musical memory. It is a delicate science and will never be perfected, but the band will pursue the meta-Grail of pure intuitive creation doggedly, forever. Formed at Bowdoin College in 2007 and now based in Portland, the band has gone through a number of incarnations before finding its current stability. Armed with watts of atmosphere and a general lucidity, the band hopes to make a deep and lasting impression on the world, starting…now.
