简介
Pete Strickler and Charlie Branch have both been playing Irish Traditional Music for many years, but only met each other for the first time in 2015, when Charlie moved to Colorado. Immediately, they discovered a shared love of music played in a certain swung style, reminiscent of the West coast of Ireland. This album features primarily tenor guitar and guitar, but also includes some tracks with uilleann pipes, whistle, fiddle, mandolin, mandola, bouzouki, and tenor banjo. Guest appearances include Marla Fibish, Dirk Mewes, Kevin Rumery, Zina Lee, and Brian Lanni. "Tenor guitar is my favorite instrument to play in quiet settings, so I thought I would bring that to light in my first album. There aren't a whole lot of recordings of Irish Traditional Music on tenor guitar, so it feels special to highlight its versatility with this album. And Charlie's playing just brings it all together!" - Pete Strickler, 2016
