The winning entry from the My Digital Enemy Producer Challenge in association with Beatport Play & Vudu Records! Thi3ves stood head and shoulders above the competition bringing their top game to the challenge. Clever use of some of the standout samples from the remix pack alongside his own raw synths, drums, and wonky production techniques, resulted in a twisted tech house work-out that encompasses the competitions Halloween theme, while still keeping it credible. Thi3ves on Haunted The sample There's something in this house.. kinda reminded me of people starting to poke into an abandoned building. When you first start out, things are relatively calm, but as you explore things tend to get more and more scary to the point that you don't know what to expect next. That helped when building the track as I distorted the vocals to give it the impression that things are happening in the house and getting crazy up until the drop. It was a really fun track to write."
