I am planet is a moniker of a Slovak composer and musician Patrik Korinok. I am planet plays music based on influences of contemporary classical and minimalism music. In July 2014, he released his first studio album "Silene Stenophylla". While composing, he mainly uses piano and violin. “During the creation of album, I was looking for a connection between metaphysical principles and the absurdity of everyday life, which often shows more truth than any philosophical direction. Sometimes you can see the beauty and some strange kind of depth in ordinary or absurd things. These hidden principles emerge unexpectedly, mostly only for a short time. My desire was to capture them in their natural form and convert them into music, which is able to reproduce those feelings over again.” (I am planet about On The Way To Antarctica) "A calm and gentle arrangement of dominant piano rythms supported by slow and long violin tunes. This EP is a sweet and short experience of finely executed minimalism and despite its minimalism it still manages to build up enough tension and diversity to keep you interested in listening.
