Alicia Taylor is a versatile singer/songwriter who pens lyrics that evoke emotional reactions in listeners. Being a student of the Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts in Jamaica she majors in drama. This song was written for a play in which she had a hand in directing.

"Imagination Imagined Me" paints a picture of one trapped within their own imagination yearning to be free yet wanting to hang around. A mystery; an epiphany.
