Matt Prater has been quoted as "Making it Look Easy" when stitching stories into his songs. His third independent release, "Tables and Chairs" is no exception. This recording is also a story of sounds, the sounds that one who loves traditional or even outlaw country might crave. Matt has been on a journey of finding the sound as much as finding the descriptive words to describe a feeling. In an effort to just make music that he himself would want to listen to,Tables and Chairs documents the evolution of Matt's live sound with the musicians he works with playing live shows. This project is full of Pedal Steel guitar, telecaster, fiddle, four on the floor and train beat songs. Lots of which were inspired by the experience of being a working live musician who loves the early sounds of traditional country music. It was produced by Matt Prater and engineered, mixed and mastered by Donnie Gullett at Muscle Shoals Music Marketing.
