Entra A Mi Corazon is a song that was almost quite literally taken out of waste basket. I wrote this song one evening without pen and paper. I called up our lead singer late one night and said “Doug, are you near a piano? If not please go to the piano now!” Which he did, and I proceeded to give him some chords to play and I sang this song over the phone to him. After a few nervous run troughs, Doug sent me an mp3 of the song with him singing it. After about a week or so he confessed to me ever so delicately that he didn't "Love" the song; that it was just okay, but he didn't feel it. So of course I thought oh well, I'll write something else, but quickly forgot about it. Fast forward about six months I get a call from Doug who sounds all excited! He says hey listen to this song! I thought he was about to sing me a new song but instead he sang along with a recording. I said wow that sounds nice, who is that? He said, dude it's you song. Entra A Mi Corazon! I thought you didn't like it?? He sheepishly says, well I didn't. But for whatever reason, I absolutely love it now! We have to record it! And to make the song even sweeter, we were blessed to be joined by none other than Ms. Sandy Chapa of Los Gavilanes!
