BennyBwoy Reggae Recording Artist Behn "Benny Bwoy" Goldis also popularly known as - "The Original JEWmaican" has evolved into a musical phenomenon. He is well known in today's international reggae circuit; however this Jewmaican has garnered hits on the Billboard charts from very early in his career. BennyBwoy has been instrumental in taking Reggae to a higher altitude and he has broken all chains of racism, by spreading the word of equality throughout his music. Not only is his music influential, but it is also a major success through his outstanding vocals, unique singing style, powerful lyrics, and brilliant compositions. Benny was raised in a Orthodox Jewish home, although growing up in a multicultural diverse neighborhood in Far Rockaway, New York. At a young age he already started writing songs and rose to success as a singer very shortly after. His fondness towards music grew over time, and before he even knew it this talented artist found his way to the main stream. Within no time, BennyBwoy became hugely popular with his influential music and liberal philosophy. On the way to stardom, he has performed all across the globe: from the US to Europe, Middle East and Asia. His music has captured huge audiences in the aroma of peace and unity, making music lovers dance to his magical and captivating songs. BennyBwoy has tried to keep himself away from the commercial music scene, and concentrated more on influential music to spread tranquility and add meaning to the lives of many. His designing sense is very artistic, yet trendy and traditional, which is manifested by the skull cap which he wears on his head. BennyBwoy has performed with many talented artists, and has featured with three of Bob Marley's Sons - Ziggy Marley, Damien "Junior Gong" Marley and Stephen Marley. Some of the other artists BennyBwoy has performed with include Sean Paul, Jay Z, Lynx, Beenie Man, Buju Banton, Movado, Capleton, Elephant Man, Admiral Bailey, Marcia Griffiths, Tonya Stephens, Sean Kingston, Alton Ellis, and Serani, among others. His strong belief in giving of himself to the community and promoting reggae music has been reflected by his involvement with various social organizations and musical groups. He was a member of the internationally known group "The Lost Trybe of Hip Hop", best known for their two charted Billboard singles "Masta Plan" & "Pressure". BennyBwoy is also a member of the Screen Actors Guild and has written and starred in a musical short, which was produced and aired by Comedy Central called "Hip Hop in the Promised Land". BennyBwoy is also the proud founder of an organization called Musical Alliance for Racial and Cultural Harmony (M.A.R.C.H.) which was started in the early 90's after the Crown Heights riots in Brooklyn, New York. BennyBwoy often lends himself to various charitable organizations like Habitat for Humanity and religious groups. He has been involved with Stan's Pepper Steppers, a World Champion Double Dutch team operating out of Far Rockaway who have also featured in his video "Rise Up". During his spare time, he also is an active volunteer firefighter and a member of CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) under the guidance of FEMA. BennyBwoy has also held executive positions in the corporate world. He worked on Wall Street for over 18 years, overseeing a worldwide division of a private bank dealing with Restricted Securities. On most business trips he would lecture to clients during the day & perform in the clubs at night. BennyBwoy is a founding member of the First Chapter Family together with his brother from another mother Lynx, a.k.a. Mr. Unruly. Together, they use their diverse backgrounds to bring about changes to various cultures and communities by tearing down the walls of intolerance and hatred and building bridges between societies. RAS Myrhdak Know Di Bobo OFFICIAL BLAUQUE WARRIAH AKA Stephon Moulton a.k.a RAS MYRHDAK was born March 3, 1977 and hails from Linton Park Browns Town, St. Ann, a parish known for reggae greats such as Bob Marley, Burning Spear ,Max Romeo'Iqulah and Ernie Smith. Ras myrhdak's musical interest became apparent at age 8 when he began singing bass in his mother’s MIS MONICA HAMILTON church choir at the Church of God in Linton Park St. Ann. He not only kept singing in church, but involved it in his school curriculum as well. While attending Brown’s Town Comprehensive High School, Bobo Love’s ability to D.J. was seen. He was dominant in all his appearances and was well received by his audience. He knew that in order to achieve great success as an artist he must leave St. Ann and move to Kingston where he could get the exposure an artiste needed. In 1997 RAS MYRHDAK linked with producer Phillip Thomas a.k.a (Cutty Ranks) in Kingston to produce the hit singles “Hot Bwoy” and “Gal A Say Myrhdak” on the Shark Label distributed by Greensleeves Company. The great success of these singles, brought him on the scene full-force where he linked with Annetta Brewster-Aitken, his manager at that time, who really believed in him. He has worked with some great producers such as King Jammys, Bobby Digital, Kings of Kings, Mixing Magic Finga Stewart and Gemtar Production. These associations accredited him with more than 30 singles released.
