3 NIGHTS IN JULY….four friends gather at a studio to make music; their only instrument: the human voice.

The songs they sing are different expressions of love, time-tested across generations, musical traditions and styles. They echo the aching loneliness of Celtic loves lost; the passionate anticipation of a Ukrainian Christmas; the whimsy of Freddie Mercury’s unrequited cat calls; a misty morning stroll with Van Morrison in memorializing the great forbidden love of his youth. All of these are expressions of deepest passion – like the spiritual journey of a Wayfaring Stranger, or the doo-wop metamorphosis of Curtis Mayfield’s “It’s Alright”. Everyone carries passionate longings in the deepest recesses of their souls. And sometimes, the only relief to be found is in music...like the tunes wafting from an old jukebox in the corner of a pub, where all these wayfaring strangers gather to share in their common human experience: the longing for fulfillment – even if only for one happy hour.
