On the morning of December 19th, 2009...approximately 5:45 am, as I was down stairs in our home on Durango, doing my normal early morning chores, I heard my son Eric scream the words..."MayMay's Dead...MayMay's Dead!" I knew by the tone in Eric's voice, that distinct deathly cry of pain, sorrow, and disbelief, he has just revealed to me the very last thing in this world I wanted to be faced with, confronted with, and to have to deal with...the untimely, unwarranted, unjustified, and totally inconceivable fact that my fourth born, beautiful, vibrant, and so loved nineteen (19) year old son, Melvin Thomas Hall aka MayMay, had been brutally shot to death four (4) hours earlier. From that moment on, my life would not be the same. I in fact, would never again be the same, and the world as I knew it, would never be quite the same. This album, "Love, Life & Game" is my attempt, in the most sincerest way, to give some prospective, some value, some insight, and much love, to the brief, beautiful life of my son, your brother...Melvin Thomas Hall aka MayMay. It is my hope that this project will further support MayMay's positive and heart felt marks on The Tapestry of Life...
