VG (Vincent Galicia) is a singer/songwriter from Kansas City, Kansas. His fourth album will be released before the end of 2014. His third album Imma Getcha was released in August, 2012. The music that he wrote for this cd is the best of his career and has received rave reviews from music professionals and his facebook page followers. VGs first two cds are: Determined and Supa Bad. All three of his albums contain a mix of r&b, Latino, dance and hip hop infuences. VG music writing skills are varied and, depending on his mood, at the time will write in English, Spanish or both. SHOWS VG has performed at various venues throughout the United States. He has performed with international group Fulanito. In addition, he has performed with Voz a Voz, Bachata Heightz, Frost (formerly known as Kid Frost), at the Best of the Best Pre-Spring Break Jam at the University of Phoenix Stadium with performers Baby Bash, Miguel, E40, Too Short and headliner Lil Jon. VG has toured with Xtreme (bachata band). VG has performed at one of KCs premiere venues, the historical Midland Theater, opening for Angel y Khriz. He has performed with Kansas City artists C-Los El Gran, Luck Kennedy, Abel Union and Miguel “Mambo de Leon. VG performed during Hispanic Heritage Month at Hallmark corporate headquarters, Microsoft store for two midnight sales, the Voodoo Lounge at Harrah’s Casino for several Flirt Fridays/Sexy Saturdays and the Miss Latina KS/MO/Teen pageant. VG’s music was played over the intercom of the Sprint Center before the Vicente Fernandez concert in 2011 at Sprint Center. He also performed at various Kansas City clubs, fashion shows, international dance festivals, fiestas, private events such as birthdays, anniversaries, graduations and quinceañeras during his career. INTERVIEWS VG was featured multiple times at live interviews/performances with Univision's La Revista, Que Pasa KC? (KCTV5 program), La Super X, KCTV5’s morning show and “Driven” on the Ion Channel. MAGAZINE/NEWSPAPER FEATURES VG was featured on the cover of Pitch Weekly, Dos Mundos, Mi Raza, Mi Gente, La Crème and various other publications. COMMUNITY VG organized a benefit for the community of Joplin, Missouri in 2011. VG has performed at several fundraisers in the community. VG is a volunteer songwriting mentor for the Scribblers Co.
