Every story begins somewhere. Several years ago, James Christopher Evans had a life changing experience that sent him searching for Truth. After years of running in circles and many wrong turns, he realized the Truth was right in front of him. A native of Daleville, Indiana, James was born with a fire and passion for music, and a determination that could not easily be derailed. He began writing songs after graduating from Ball State University. James' new project, On This Day, is an audible testament to his new found faith in God and his journey as a new dad. James was able to foster his thirst for knowledge by not only writing the songs for On This Day but also recording and producing it. The songs are filled with great emotion and musical power that will inspire. Inspired by everything from Jeff Buckley and Tom Waits to Morrissey, James finds himself constantly influenced by the music of the '50s & '60s that filled his childhood home in Indiana.
