Morgan Davie has written and performed his original songs since he was in high school in Rome, where he saw The Who, Jimi Hendrix, Donovan, and The Rolling Stones. He owned a music store in Oregon, selling both instruments and CD's; artists who were playing in the area, such as Ravi Shankar, stopped there to browse through his amazing selection of global music. Putting together his performance ability with his appreciation for the best of global music, he went into the recording studio. The core of his music is the guitar, including acoustic and electric. Innovation and deeply rooted musical traditions combine to make original songs with interesting lyrics and strong harmonies.
