The Shinko Singers, in actuality, consist of naught but one man, Carl V. Shinko. Through the marvels of modern recording technology and falsetto singing, Carl is able to create the aural illusion of a mixed choral ensemble with his own voice. The process by which he creates such recordings is usually long and meticulous, but with consistent attention to detail, the effect of a "one-man choir" can be achieved. To date, Carl has produced recordings that have anywhere from four to one-hundred eleven "Carl"s singing simultaneously.
