TDub's laid back urban hip hop style is a modern classic with rhythms and melodies reminiscent of such artists as Ryan Leslie and L.L. Cool J. At an early age TDub was influenced by blues, pop, rock, rap and hip hop as well as R&B. He started singing and rapping at an young age but didn't take it seriously until after reaching the age of 30. As a member in his local churche's choir TDub discovered the true gift that was given to him at birth. As he sang gospel songs people were spiritually moved. However, as he sang modern and classic gospel songs, TDub didn't feel completed on his musical journey. After much contemplation and meditation TDub eventually returned to his hip hop roots, interjecting the gospel influence that had become an integral part of his life. As a practical yet philosophical artist, TDub delivers a thoughtful message with each song that touches the soul.
